Our company was established in 1970 by Mr. Bernhard Diebold as Diel (pty) Ltd and now trades under the name InterMet Africa. Our factory is based in cape town, which includes R&D facility and manufacturing facility.
InterMet Africa offers full turnkey electronic contract manufacturing from prototypes right through to high volume production. Services include part procurement and management, assembly, testing, mechanical integration through to packaging and shipping.
Although we specialise in the electronics industry, we have a comprehensive metal and wood workshop which fabricates and builds all our tracking stations, test fixtures as well as various external projects.
A few of our capabilities include manufacturing, assembling, machining and welding of fusion weldable alloys such as Aluminum, Magnesium, Titanium, Zircalloy, pure Molybdenum, Nickel, Cobalt and Tungsten based alloys, Austenitic and Martensitic Stainless Steel, Carbon and low alloy steels.
